Simple Pay-As-You-Go Pricing
BestShots.AI operates on a transparent, pay-as-you-go credit system tailored to the seasonal workflow of professional photographers. You only pay for the frames you analyze: no recurring subscriptions or hidden platform fees.
How Credits Work
1 Credit = 1 Frame Analyzed
Each credit enables full AI evaluation for one photograph:
- Eye openness and sharpness detection
- Facial recognition and subject landmark grouping
- Micro-expression and emotion classification
- Perceptual burst grouping and Hero ranking
Uploading photos, viewing previews, manual keyboard culling, filtering, and exporting XMP sidecars are always 100% free. Credits are only deducted when you choose to run AI analysis.
Free Starter Credits
Every new BestShots account includes 100 free credits upon email verification. No credit card is required. You can test the platform on a complete shoot sequence before deciding to purchase a credit top-up pack.

Credit packs are one-time purchases that provide immediate access to analysis credits:

Purchased credits are immediately deposited into your account balance and are visible in your workspace header and Credits Settings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Photographers frequently experience busy summers and slower winter off-seasons. Any unused credits remain permanently in your account until you need them.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. There are no recurring monthly fees, maintenance charges, or annual contracts. Buy packs when you have shoots to cull, and let them sit untouched when you are off the clock.
What happens if an analysis fails or is cancelled?
BestShots features centralized transactional credit reconciliation (ADR 0001). If an analysis job encounters an unrecoverable processing error, or if you cancel a queued analysis before it begins processing, the exact number of credits is automatically refunded to your balance.
How are payments processed?
All credit pack transactions are processed securely via Stripe. BestShots never stores, handles, or transmits raw payment card numbers. All checkout sessions take place over encrypted TLS 1.3 connections directly with Stripe.
Where can I find VAT / GST invoices and receipts?
Every purchase automatically generates a receipt sent to your account email address. You can also view purchase history, download PDF tax invoices, and update billing details at any time via the Billing Settings page.
Can I share credits across multiple team members?
Organization and studio credit pools will be available in Version 2. Currently, credit balances belong to individual registered user accounts.
What is the refund policy?
If you are dissatisfied with your first credit pack purchase, contact us within 14 days of purchase at support@bestshots.ai or through our Customer Support Portal. Unused credits are eligible for a full refund.
